Petersburg’s new health food and wellness market open daily downtown

PETERSBURG – Joseph “Joey” Puletti is on a mission to provide accessible healthy food and wellness options to Petersburg and surrounding areas.

Now open across the street from the historic Petersburg Courthouse, Agoria Market LLC’s focus is in the development of local food systems to increase access to healthy and local food options.

Agoria’s products are intentionally chosen to provide individuals with produce, pre-made meals, bulk dry goods, herbs, supplements, snacks, lifestyle accessories, and other essentials.

“With a lot of help from friends, Virginia vendors, and local contractors, I am humbled to lead this community-driven effort to rejuvenate a historic building and be a part of a thriving and bustling downtown Petersburg,” Agoria Market founder Puletti of Moseley,  said.

The new health food and wellness market serves as a gathering place for customers, farmers, food producers, makers, educators, health practitioners, and entrepreneurs.

“Many of our members from the Tri-cities area have been saying it is hard to get fresh organic local produce and other goods because they don’t have time to go to Richmond, so here is your chance,” posted Ken and Jackie Capecci of Chesterfield on Facebook.

“What a great spot! So stoked for this health food store. Awesome selection of products,” Alex Bayer said in his Google review. “Get you some goodies, lots of yummy chocolate, and kombucha.”
